Welcome to My Forever Gifts. I’m Eli, a parent and the owner of this Chicago-based, minority-owned small business. My Forever Gifts began with my own search for gifts that say more than “I thought of you.” I wanted to find something that said, “I see you. You matter to me.” That desire to help people feel seen became the heart of this store.

I’ve been in that familiar moment many times: standing in a store or scrolling online, hoping to find a gift that feels personal, thoughtful, and true to the relationship. Not necessarily expensive or flashy. Just meaningful. Something that helps you express what you mean when the right words are hard to find.

Chicago is home. Its neighborhoods, cultures, and resilience have shaped the way I see community and connection. Being a minority-owned business is part of my story, alongside the experiences and relationships that inspired me to begin.

As a parent building this business, I carry those values into everything I do. Care, gratitude, and connection are more than words I use to describe the store. They’re values I try to live by, and I hope you feel them when you visit.
